RESCHEDULED FOR NEXT TUESDAY, JUNE 4: ‘Government & Developers Working Together,’ the fifth of six weekly programs exploring solutions for the future of the City of Niagara Falls, will take place June 4, 6 – 8 PM, at the Niagara Falls Rail Station, 825 Depot Avenue. The featured presenter will be Rocco Termini, CEO of Signature Development. Mr. Termini is known for his high-profile redevelopment and historic restoration projects in Buffalo, including the Hotel Lafayette, Distillery Lofts, and most recently, the remarkable renaissance happening along Chandler Street in Buffalo’s Black Rock district. Termini will be discussing his experience working with government, and will be joined by an expert panel including: Christian Campos (TM Montante Development); Anthony Vilardo (City of Niagara Falls); Zach Casale (Hunt Real Estate Capital); and Kory Schuler (Niagara USA Chamber). The six-week series Imagining a More Livable Niagara Falls was initiated by a group of local activists joined by the City of Niagara Falls, NYS Chapter of the Congress for the New Urbanism, and Partners for a Livable Western New York. The events are designed to focus on the built environment and livability of the City, and will address mobility, housing, placemaking, and the relationship between government and developers. Each program will include a panel discussion. Attendees will have an opportunity to present questions to the presenter and panelists at each session. The final upcoming program on Thursday, June 6 will invite the public to be both presenter and panelist, in a community conversation about the future of the City.
