Additional developments revealed for Downtown Buffalo

At least two more developments have been announced for downtown Buffalo:

Ciminelli Development plans an 18-story high-rise apartment house with adjoining two-story supermarket (Orchard Fresh by TOPS Markets).   200 apartments and condominiums are planned and three floors of office space as well as other shops and restaurants, a public plaza and covered parking for 800 cars.  Read the full story here

The second development is a mixed-use renovation by architect Steve Carmina and partners to convert a building in Buffalo’s Michigan Avenue African American Heritage Corridor to 18 apartments, a restaurant and 10,000 square feet of commercial space as well as rent-free space for the local chapter of the NAACP.  Read the full story here
