Meet us on Saturday, October 7 in Lockport at the gazebo adjacent to the Lockport Community Market (57 Canal Street) as we venture along downtown’s Main Street corridor, discussing the current state and possibility of improvements.

Participants are invited to make suggestions on improving walkability, bikeability, greenspace, traffic calming, aesthetics, and any other items they see fit, and as they relate to downtown Lockport. We will provide a briefing on the current state of downtown Lockport, including current and future projects. Participants will also learn about Lockport’s rich history and tour impressive architecture, including Lockport’s famed Flight of Five locks along the Erie Canal.

After the walk, enjoy a glass of wine (on us!) at the Flight of Five Winery (2 Pine Street) where we can continue discussions of involvement and action.
