Last Saturday’s Jane’s Walk & Workshop event held in Lockport was a huge success! Presenters Laura Palisano Hackathorn and Jeff Belt spoke about the revitalization of the Village of Hamburg and the City of Olean, and then the roughly 40 attendees spent the afternoon walking Downtown Lockport and discussing ideas for the revitalization of Main Street and the surrounding area. For those of you who couldn’t attend, or for those attendees who would like a review, Saturday morning’s presentations are now online. We thank our partner organizations Lockport Main Street and Unlock Lockport for their hard work. Special thanks to Mayor Anne McCaffrey, Common Council Chairman David R. Wohleben, and other Lockport officials who took time out of their weekend, as well as everyone who attended the event. We look forward to continued community support for future Partners for a Livable Western New York activities.
